Green-Wood Cemetery

Founded in 1838 and now a National Historic Landmark, Green-Wood was one of the first rural cemeteries in America. Today, visitors from around the world are attracted to the site’s 478 magnificently landscaped acres and its year-round program of trolley tours, walking tours, arts and cultural programs, exhibitions and other special events. To celebrate Green-Wood’s 175th Anniversary, Archigrafika developed a branding campaign that included the design of a commemorative logo and large-scale banners for the Cemetery’s two most prominent architectural features, the Arch and Historic Chapel. The work initiated a relationship that continues today. Archigrafika designs Green-Wood’s event calendars and The Arch, its magazine for donors and members. The graceful, eloquent and timeless graphics give visual substance to Green-Wood’s unique and active role in the cultural life of New York City.
