Marymount School of New York
The Marymount School of New York is an all-girls Catholic private school with a mission to educate and empower young women. Their new campus at 97th Street echoes this mission, with advanced facilities such as science labs and engineering and art studios. Archigrafika was brought in to design a clear and intuitive system of signage that blends in with the beautiful multistory building. The signs include separate front and back of house styles for room signs, as well as the eye-catching name, address, and seal by the exterior entrances. The harmonious mix of clean, modern design and heavy, textured materials echoes Marymount’s own position as a historic institution seeking to create the leaders of the future.
